The Higher National Diploma, Certificate of Higher Education, Diploma of Higher Education, Foundation Degree, Bachelors, Masters, Ph.D., variety of professional and vocational degrees. Postgraduate degrees divided into taught and research degrees, are the various degrees awarded in UK universities.
Most universities in the UK, are made of colleges that are dedicated to a particular subject matter or course but are still governed by the university. Students applying to universities of this kind in the UK are advised to use a system called the Universities and Colleges Admission Service or UCAS – using this system means that you have to know what you want to study before you apply.
The undergraduate programs require 3 years for completion, the postgraduate programs require a maximum of a year for completion and the doctorate programs require 3 years for completion.
Living Expenses

Generally, the UK is somewhat thought to be expensive, but the cost of living here varies with the location, with some places having a higher cost than others. Having a good cut-out financial plan for living expenses would also determine the best places to reside.
